The DDS02.1-W200-DL40-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed to regulate a single motor axis in automated machinery, the unit converts command signals from a higher-level control into precisely metered three-phase output for synchronous and induction servo motors. It serves as the power stage for closed-loop positioning tasks, translating control commands into responsive motor current. Because the controller regulates current in real time, it can maintain smooth motion during indexing, feed moves, and speed-controlled process steps.

Within the controller, the communication channel is optimized for single-axis position control, allowing direct velocity and position commands without intermediate multiplexing. The unit provides a continuous output of 200 A under rated conditions, and protective electronics monitor current demand to help prevent overcurrent shutdowns.
