The DDS02.1-W200-DL05-01-FW is a servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and placed within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet-mounted automation, the unit supplies regulated three-phase power to compatible Indramat synchronous motors and processes high-resolution feedback for coordinated motion. In an industrial line, the controller links a single mechanical axis to a higher-level PLC, closing the speed and position loop during acceleration, running, and stopping. This layout suits machines that keep the power electronics in a central cabinet while the motor and load remain on the machine frame. Because it uses digital current control, it responds quickly to torque changes that are common in packaging, printing, and material-handling machines.

The drive delivers a continuous output of 200 A, which supports large synchronous motors and requires suitable conductors and cabinet cooling. Heat is removed by air drawn from inside the control cabinet, so the enclosure must provide enough airflow to carry heat away from the unit. Closed-loop regulation is achieved with digital servo feedback, allowing the controller to process position and velocity signals with low delay. The housing is rated IP20, which provides finger-safe protection but does not seal the electronics from dust or moisture. Nominal performance is maintained in ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C, and higher temperatures require output derating.

Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level without derating. During storage, the electronics tolerate temperatures from -30 to 85 °C, which helps protect the power section during transport and warehouse storage. The controller uses Function ID version 01 and belongs to Line 02, which identify its control configuration within the series. It communicates motion commands and diagnostic data over the system bus while handling single-axis position control.
