The DDS02.1-W200-DL02-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and included in the DDS Drive Controllers series. In an automation cell, it works as the closed-loop regulator that delivers controlled power and motion commands to a matched servo motor. It regulates current, speed, and position so the connected axis can follow commanded moves with consistent accuracy. This type of controller is suited to applications that require coordinated starts, stops, and repeatable positioning on a single axis for handling, pressing, and packaging stations.

Its control section communicates through a single-axis position control interface, allowing direct reception of incremental setpoints from the master controller. Internal heat is removed by air from inside the control cabinet, so the installation must leave a clear airflow path around the heat sink. The power stage can supply up to 200 A of continuous output current, and live parts are enclosed to IP20 for installation inside a grounded cabinet. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C, and the drive evaluates encoder signals through digital servo feedback to close the velocity and position loops.
