Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W200-D is a Digital AC Servo Drive Controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It belongs to line 02 and version 1 of the platform and regulates three-phase servo motors through digital servo feedback. In industrial automation cells, it delivers closed-loop torque and speed control while mounting inside a control cabinet that provides the required auxiliary rails. It is intended for multi-axis systems that distribute bus power across the cabinet and support coordinated servo motion.
The power section uses a DC bus held at 300 VDC that can be supplied from a shared rectifier link. Control electronics require 24 VDC, keeping parameter memory and gate firing active when the main bus is off. The drive supplies 65 A continuously and permits peaks to 200 A for quick acceleration. Hall-effect sensors supervise these limits to protect the IGBT bridge during rapid load changes and acceleration events. Auxiliary rails draw 150 mA on +15 V, 150 mA on -15 V, and 500 mA on 24 V to feed signal processing and communications. The internal cooling path removes heat directly from the power modules, allowing the continuous output to be maintained when cabinet airflow stays within the required range.
Internal cabinet air is pulled through the heat sink, so the temperature around the unit must stay below 45 °C. The housing is rated IP20, indicating finger protection only and no sealing against dust or spray. Link capacitors accept excursions of ±15 % from nominal, allowing the common bus to ride through moderate mains swings. Full current capacity is guaranteed up to 1000 m installation height and at ambient humidity up to 95 % non-condensing. A ventilated control cabinet is required to maintain the stated temperature and humidity conditions during operation.
