The DDS02.1-W150-RA02-02-FW drive controller is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a digital AC servo drive controller, it supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous or induction servo motors used in industrial handling, packaging, and machining equipment. The unit works with higher-level motion systems so the drive can regulate speed and torque while an axis follows commanded movement under changing load conditions. It serves as the power conversion stage between incoming control commands and the motor windings, supporting repeatable motion during normal machine operation.
Its communication path uses an analog interface, so velocity or current commands can enter as ±10 V signals that the controller converts into timed gate pulses for the power stage. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, so cabinet air moves across the heat sink instead of pulling outside air into the enclosure. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures of 0 to 45 °C and at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level. The feedback channel is configured for Resolver feedback, so the controller can monitor rotor position with a sensing method that remains reliable in the presence of vibration and electrical noise. For storage or shipping, the unit withstands a temperature span of -30 to 85 °C, which supports transport and warehouse storage while the drive is not energized. The controller is built as Version 1.
