The DDS drive controllers are components of the DDS drive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The drive system has a modular design that makes it flexible and customizable to suit users’ needs. The DDS drive controllers can also be combined with servo motors of different series to obtain rapid-response drives. These drives are used in machine tools, robotics and handling machines, textile industries, and printing and packaging machinery.
The DDS02.1-W150-DS46-02-FW is a model of the drive controllers in the DDS drive system by Bosch Rexroth. It features a heat technology cooling system where the cooling airflow is within the control cabinet. A large control cabinet and air conditioning are required for this cooling system, but it is easy to mount and install. The protection rating of the control cabinet is IP 10 according to EN 60529. This indicates that solid extrinsic objects with a diameter of 50mm or more cannot penetrate it to cause damage. The drive controller has an IP 20 protection rating and is protected from the penetration of objects larger than 12mm.
The bus voltage for the operation of the DDS02.1-W150-DS46-02-FW is 300V with a tolerance of ±15%, while its current rating is 150A. It is equipped with a SERCOS interface as its plugin module.
