Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W150-DS37-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed for multi-axis automation, the unit translates motion commands from higher-level control systems into regulated motor currents that accurately follow programmed position and speed profiles. By placing this controller in the drive chain, the system gains real-time electrical control over servo motors used in conveyor sections, pick-and-place modules, and other industrial positioning tasks.
In continuous operation, the drive can deliver up to 150 A of output current, permitting it to energize medium-to-large servo motors without external current amplifiers. Component ingress protection is classified as IP20, so it is intended for mounting inside a closed electrical cabinet rather than on open machinery. Thermal management is handled by air from inside the control cabinet, and the internal airflow path removes heat without additional ducting. Safe functionality is maintained between ambient temperatures of 0 – 45 °C, a span that covers most shop-floor environments. Command and status data are exchanged over a SERCOS interface, enabling deterministic communication with motion controllers and peer devices on the same fiber-optic ring.
For axis closure, the drive interprets encoder signals that arrive as digital servo feedback, improving position accuracy while reducing analog noise susceptibility. Reliable operation is permitted up to an installation height of 1000 m above sea level, allowing use in most industrial regions without derating. When de-energized, the unit tolerates warehouse or transit climates between -30 – 85 °C, protecting the control electronics during storage. Within the series, the drive is part of Line 02 and uses hardware version 1.
