The DDS02.1-W150-DS13-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. It controls current, velocity, and position for connected servo motors, forming the link between higher-level motion processors and electromechanical axes on automated machinery in production environments. By converting command data into regulated three-phase output, it supports coordinated handling, packaging, and metalworking applications that require deterministic response and programmable motion profiles. Its control architecture is suited to servo systems that need stable axis synchronization during indexing, transfer, contouring, and repeated start-stop motion tasks.

Motion commands reach the unit over the SERCOS interface, a fiber-optic fieldbus that supplies synchronized setpoint and diagnostic data during each servo cycle. The drive also exchanges status information with the control system, helping coordinated axes react consistently to changing load conditions and commanded speed changes. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling, so cabinet air passes across the heat sink to remove waste heat. Feedback from the motor arrives as digital servo feedback, giving position and speed information for closed-loop regulation. That feedback arrangement supports responsive speed regulation and accurate position tracking during acceleration, steady travel, and stopping. The controller can be mounted at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level before reduced air density begins to affect cooling performance. During non-operational periods, the electronics tolerate storage temperatures from -30 to 85 °C, helping protect internal components during transport and warehousing. The controller is Version 1 and uses the corresponding design revision for this model.
