The DDS02.1-W150-DS12-01 is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. Acting as the axis amplifier in modular automation cabinets, it converts velocity and position commands from CNC or PLC hardware into controlled three-phase motor output. This closed-loop operation lets the drive respond quickly to load changes during indexing, interpolation, and repeated start-stop cycles. It is intended for systems that need repeatable acceleration and precise speed regulation over changing duty cycles. The unit is suited for industrial robots, gantries, and material-handling stations where stable motion control and coordinated axis behavior are required.
Within the electrical section, the controller delivers a continuous phase current of 150 A, allowing it to drive large torque motors without derating under normal operating conditions.
