The DDS02.1-W150-DL04-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. In an automation cell, it forms the power and regulation stage between a motion controller and a servo motor, converting low-level commands into precise current pulses that generate the required torque and velocity. By linking encoder signals with its internal processor, the unit closes the position loop and provides deterministic motion for indexing tables, feeders, and material-handling axes. This closed-loop arrangement helps the axis respond consistently during repeated start-stop cycles and short positioning moves.

This controller executes single-axis position control routines and reads the rotor encoder through digital servo feedback, eliminating analog drift and simplifying wiring. A continuous output capability of 150 A supports high-inertia loads without external boosters. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, so cabinet air moves across the heat sink and is vented locally rather than discharged outside the enclosure. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for clean electrical cabinets where finger protection is sufficient. Reliable service is maintained across an ambient range of 0 – 45 °C, and current limiting together with thermal sensors helps protect the power section during sustained demand.

Storage is permitted from -30 – 85 °C, which allows the drive to remain in warehouse conditions before installation. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level before derating applies, which covers typical plant elevations. The unit is part of Line 02 and is identified as version 1. Its standardized layout supports use in established DDS cabinet arrangements and matching motor-control applications.
