Communication with higher-level motion processors is managed over the SERCOS interface, which transports real-time setpoints and feedback over a fiber-optic ring. This arrangement supports synchronized command exchange for coordinated axis movement in automated machinery. Inside the enclosure, the drive is cooled by air drawn from the cabinet interior, eliminating external fan assemblies and keeping contaminant ingress low.
