The DDS02.1-W100-DS46-00-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the DDS Drive Controllers series. It conditions three-phase power and manages current and speed loops for synchronous or asynchronous motors under CNC or PLC command. The unit is part of Line 02 and Version 1, so it fits standard Indramat drive racks used in multi-axis packaging, printing, and material handling systems. It also integrates with DIAX04 supply units and operates on a common DC bus, which allows neighboring axes to share available bus energy inside the same drive assembly. This arrangement keeps the power stage separate from the motor while allowing the controller to regulate torque and speed precisely across coordinated axes.

Its continuous output rating of 100 A lets connected motors produce high torque without overloading the supply under normal operating conditions. Motion commands, status words, and diagnostics are transmitted over the SERCOS interface, providing reliable fiber-optic communication between the drive and the control system. Performance is maintained up to 1000 m above sea level, while higher elevations reduce cooling effectiveness and may require output derating. During storage or transport, the controller can remain within a temperature range of -30 to +85 °C without damage to internal electrical components if it is not in operation. These limits should be considered along with cabinet ventilation and site elevation during system layout.
