The DDS02.1-W100-DS06-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It is installed inside control cabinets to regulate torque and speed of synchronous and induction servo motors used in transfer lines, packaging machines, and material-handling axes. By combining a power section, communication interface, and closed-loop regulation in one unit, the device links fieldbus commands with the current requirements of connected motors in automated cells. This arrangement lets the controller manage motor response directly at the axis while supporting coordinated motion in larger machine systems. It is suited to machines that require repeatable axis behavior during frequent starts, stops, and speed changes.
The drive exchanges cyclic setpoints and actual values through the SERCOS interface, enabling deterministic communication with PLCs and multi-axis motion platforms.
