The DDS02.1-W100-DS04-02 is a servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. In automated machinery, this unit supplies regulated power to synchronous motors while exchanging motion commands and status data with higher-level PLCs. By converting drive commands into controlled current and voltage patterns, it closes the torque and velocity loop so production axes remain accurate during indexing, feeding, and positioning tasks. This makes the controller suitable for packaging systems, transfer stations, and other multi-axis equipment that depends on repeatable motor response.

The controller delivers up to 100 A of continuous output, allowing it to energize medium-to-large servo motors without current derating under normal operating conditions. Thermal management is handled by internal air cooling, so cabinet air moves through the heat sink without an external blower. This feedback method also supports stable speed regulation when motor demand changes quickly. Long-term storage is permitted from -30 to +85 °C, which supports storage in non-operating inventory areas when the unit is powered down. Operation is supported up to 1000 m above sea level. Above that height, cooling capacity must be reduced to match the lower air density.
