Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the DDS02.1-W100-DL20-01-FW as a member of the DDS Drive Controllers series. This digital AC servo drive controller forms the interface between a motion control system and a connected motor, converting incoming commands into regulated three-phase output for controlled axis motion. In automated equipment such as pick-and-place arms, packaging lines, and conveying modules, it monitors motor feedback and adjusts current continuously so the machine can hold commanded speed and position with repeatable accuracy. Because control and power functions are handled in the same unit, the drive can coordinate acceleration, braking, and steady-state operation for a single machine axis.

The drive supplies a continuous output of 100 A, which gives it the capacity to operate medium-power servomotors without current derating. The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so the controller is intended for installation inside a closed cabinet, and heat from the power stage is removed by air cooling from inside the control cabinet. Motion commands are handled through single-axis position control, while actual rotor position is returned by digital servo feedback for closed-loop correction during speed changes and positioning moves. The electronics remain operational in ambient temperatures of 0 to 45 °C, which fits standard factory environments when cabinet airflow is properly maintained.

During storage and transport, the components tolerate -30 to 85 °C, which helps protect the unit when it is kept out of service before installation or between production runs. The controller can be installed at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level, and higher altitudes require additional cooling capacity because thinner air removes less heat. The unit is part of Line 02, and it carries Function ID version 01 with hardware Version 1 to identify the assigned product variant. These identifiers distinguish the controller within the DDS range.
