Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W100-DL13-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and placed within the DDS Drive Controllers series. The device converts the shared DC bus voltage from a supply module into three-phase output for one motor, coordinating torque and speed through internal current, velocity, and position loops. Inside an automated cell, it serves as the drive end of a closed-loop axis, allowing packaging stations, handling gantries, and process lines to execute repeatable motion profiles under PLC direction. It is intended for applications that require precise motor control on a single axis.
The controller delivers a continuous output of 100 A, so cabinet wiring, circuit protection, and motor selection must accommodate that current level. Its housing carries an IP20 rating, indicating finger-safe construction suitable for installation in a protected enclosure. Heat is removed by internal air cooling, so sufficient panel airflow is required to keep component temperatures within limits. Command data enter through the built-in single-axis position control interface, which accepts position commands and generates the corresponding torque reference without an external motion card. Motor commutation and velocity feedback are obtained through digital servo feedback, enabling high-resolution monitoring of rotor position for smooth low-speed performance.
The permissible ambient range is 0 – 45 °C, and no forced derating is required while the cabinet remains within this temperature window. Installation altitude is limited to 1000 m above sea level, and higher elevations require current reduction because thinner air reduces cooling effectiveness. During storage or transport, the electronics tolerate temperatures between –30 – 85 °C. The controller uses function set DL13 and is Version 01. These limits apply to normal operation, storage, and transport conditions for the drive.
