The DDS02.1-W100-DA14-00 is a drive controller in Bosch Rexroth’s DDS02.1 series with a DC bus voltage rating of 300V (+/- 15%). It is a flexible model which can be configured to suit different functions using modules. Heat is effectively expelled from the system where it is used by heat technology, a method of heat dissipation where heat is transferred within the control cabinet housing it. This control cabinet also plays a protective role for the drive controller with its IP 10 Ingress Protection rating. This means that it prevents the penetration of solid extrinsic objects over 50mm in diameter into the device.
To communicate with other components of the drive system, the DDS02.1-W100-DA14-00 uses an ANALOG interface. It also works with motors with digital motor feedback only. The maximum peak current and continuous current values for its operation are 100A and 40A, respectively. With this drive controller, drives that are ideal for applications in machine tools, textiles, printing and packaging machinery, robotics, and handling machines can be designed.
