The DDS02.1-W050-RA02-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. Installed in modular automation cabinets, the unit provides closed-loop current control for synchronous and induction motors used in positioning tables, presses, and material-handling axes. It acts as the link between the motion controller and the motor windings, shaping three-phase power so machines can follow commanded profiles under changing mechanical loads. This control structure helps the connected motor maintain stable torque during acceleration, deceleration, and steady-speed operation. Because the control loops are closed in the drive, response to load changes remains faster than with open-loop power stages.
