The DDS02.1-W050-DS58-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDS Drive Controllers series. As an axis amplifier, it regulates current and speed for compatible synchronous and induction motors that are commanded through a centralized motion system. In factory automation, the unit provides closed-loop control so the higher-level controller does not have to manage the full motor regulation loop. I/O and timing data reach the controller through the SERCOS interface, giving deterministic cyclic communication with the master control system.
