Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W050-DS30-01 is a Bosch Rexroth drive controller. When used under specified operating conditions, the current output of the controller is 50 Amps. These specified conditions include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. The output current falls to 40 Amps if the temperature rises to 55 degrees Celsius. Use of the DDS02.1-W050-DS30-01 above 55 degrees Celsius is not permitted as it could lead to equipment failure. The output current falls to approximately 32.5 Amps if the altitude reaches 5000 meters. Use of the drive above 5000 meters is not permitted as it could lead to equipment failure. The output derating will be a multiplication of load factors if both the altitude and temperature exceed recommended limits simultaneously. If the DDS02.1-W050-DS30-01 is kept in storage then it must be protected from dust, corrosive vapors and vibrations.
The recommended storage temperature for the DDS02.1-W050-DS30-01 is -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. The housing of the drive is IP20 rated. Bosch has designed the drive for cabinet mounting. The permitted mounting orientation is vertical. Height of the DDS02.1-W050-DS30-01 is 355 millimeters, the width is 60 millimeters and the depth is 325 millimeters. The controller uses air from within the control cabinet. To ensure proper ventilation, Bosch has recommended that a minimum 40 millimeters of space should be provided in front of the drive, 25 millimeters should be provided on the rear side, and 80 millimeters should be provided on the top and bottom sides of the mounted drive. The drive supports digital servo feedback. The command communication module on the drive is SERCOS. The function ID is 30 and the function Id version is 00.
