The DDS02.1-W050-DS30-00 is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. This digital servo drive controller integrates into SERCOS-based automation lines and supplies the closed-loop current and velocity commands needed to run AC servomotors on synchronized machine axes. In a shared cabinet, it converts DC-bus power into controlled motor output for positioning and speed-regulated motion. It is intended for machine axes that require coordinated motion under central control across repeated operating cycles. The unit is part of Line 02 and is Version 1, so it can be used alongside other DDS modules in the same system.

The controller can deliver a continuous output current of 50 A, so connected motors and upstream protection must be selected for that load. Communication with the motion master takes place through the SERCOS interface, where the fiber-optic link carries cyclic commands and status data at deterministic update times. Rotor position is processed through digital servo feedback, which gives the drive the high-resolution data needed for smooth torque production. For storage or shipping, the components tolerate -30 to 85 °C when condensation is avoided. If the drive is installed above the altitude limit or outside the operating temperature range, output must be derated or additional thermal measures must be provided. The unit should also remain dry during transport and storage so moisture does not collect on internal parts before startup.
