The DDS02.1-W050-DL05-00 is another drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the DDS Drive Series. Like other drives in the series, it is modular in design, allowing it to use one supply unit when combined with the main drives. Its motor feedback is via Digital Servo Feedback (DSF); therefore, its connection is restricted to only DSF motors. It becomes a quick action drive when combined with AC motors like MDD, MKD, and LAR.
The DDS02.1-W050-DL05-00 can be adapted for use across different areas such as handling machines, machine tools, packaging machinery, printing, textile, and robotics. It uses heat technology; hence the airflow is contained within the control cabinet. Using this heat technology makes fixing and installation of the drive controller easy. It also weighs approximately 7.5 kilograms. It is shielded against penetration by a covering with a diameter of over 50mm, and this meets the requirements of protection category IP 10 with reference to DIN 40 050.
