The DDS02.1-W025-RS16-02-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Cooling is provided by air from inside the control cabinet, so the heatsink depends on cabinet airflow rather than external ducting. The drive can operate in ambient temperatures from 0–45 °C, so most production halls do not require derating. For storage, it tolerates temperatures from -30–85 °C without damage to internal components when the unit is not in service. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level, which covers the elevation of most factory sites. The hardware belongs to Line 02 and is version 1, which distinguishes it from earlier DDS builds. This versioning separates the connector arrangement and internal revision level used by the unit.
