The DDS02.1-W025-RS16-01 is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a digital AC servo drive controller, it sends finely timed current pulses to matched motors so that assembly robots, gantries, and machining centers reach commanded positions with consistent accuracy. In automated systems, this lets the drive regulate torque, speed, and position for repeatable axis motion under changing loads. The unit sits between the higher-level motion control and the power stage that feeds the motor windings.

Its continuous output capability is 25 A, allowing the unit to energize medium-frame servomotors without derating. Command and diagnostic data move over the SERCOS interface, a real-time fiber-optic bus that synchronizes multiple axes on the same ring for coordinated motion. The electronics are cooled by air from inside the control cabinet, which simplifies panel design but requires clean ambient air around the installed equipment.
