The DDS02.1-W025-RL01-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Designed to govern torque and velocity loops for matched Indramat servo motors, the unit serves as a compact axis module in multi-axis automation racks. By closing the current loop internally and exchanging velocity commands with a higher-level master, it supplies regulated power to motors used on packaging lines, printing machinery, and material-handling stations. It links directly to a shared supply inverter section rather than operating as a standalone power unit. It is intended for cabinet-based systems where several axes are grouped in one centralized drive assembly.

Its continuous output capability is 25 A, which is the phase current the drive can supply without derating. The housing has an IP20 rating, which protects against contact with fingers and similarly sized objects, but it does not provide liquid protection, so the drive must remain inside a cabinet. Thermal energy is removed through internal air cooling, meaning cabinet air passes across the heat sink instead of an external blower. Command data pass over a single-axis position control interface, allowing the host controller to issue positioning targets for a dedicated axis. Servo feedback is accepted through resolver feedback, so the connected motor must use a resolver for speed and position loops. This control arrangement supports coordinated motion with the master controller while the drive handles motor regulation locally.

The drive can operate in ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C and at mounting altitudes up to 1000 m without added cooling. For shipping and extended storage, the electronics tolerate temperatures from -30 to 85 °C. The controller belongs to Line 02. It carries Function ID 01 with Version 1, which keeps the connector arrangement and operating structure consistent within this design line. Within those operating limits, the unit is suited for standard industrial cabinets that provide normal enclosure ventilation and protected indoor installation.
