The DDS02.1-W025-RA02-02-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It converts command signals into phase-regulated motor currents so that connected motors respond accurately to commanded speed and position changes. The unit can be used with synchronous or asynchronous servomotors in automated machinery and material-handling cells. Because the controller closes the motor current loop at the drive level, the machine control can focus on motion commands rather than direct power conversion. This makes it suitable for axes that need controlled acceleration, steady running, and repeatable stopping behavior.
This controller communicates with higher-level devices through an analog interface, letting PLCs transmit continuous setpoints without fieldbus adapters. It delivers a rated output of 25 A, which is the maximum continuous current the power stage supplies to the motor windings during normal duty cycles.
