Product Description:
The DDS02.1-W025-DS29 product is a DDS series drive controller. This controller is available in the configured state and incorporates the appropriate firmware and hardware. The Bosch Rexroth product encompasses a basic unit, software modules and plugin modules. This unit is not equipped with any firmware. It acts as a rapid-response drive when it operates along with the manufacturer’s motors. The device must not be put to use with the manufacturer’s TVM 1.2 supply unit as it has an unregulated 24VDC voltage. The controller must be operated only by people who have expertise in its installation, assembly and operation.
The drive controller should be installed only in machinery that is used in commercial applications. The product must be checked for permanent earth connection according to the connection diagram after installation. The motor to which the device is connected should also be earthed before it is turned on. The drive power connection should be isolated through an emergency stop circuit for protection against unplanned start ups. The device has a current rating of 25A. The slots in the basic unit of the controller are empty by default. The continuous current of the drive controller can be set using an overload factor when it is commissioned.
The heat technology incorporated by the controller for its cooling mechanism requires it to be mounted in a large cabinet. When selecting a motor for connection with the product, the type codes of the motor feedback data for both the controller and the motor should be compliant with each other. The unit supports different software modules for different functions. This module is determined by the function of the controller and the chosen hardware configuration. The controller features a configuration rating plate that gives details of the various modules used. The peak current rating of the controller is fixed by its continuous current rating.
