The DDS02.1-W025-DS27-01 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a controller, it supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous and induction servomotors, forming the closed-loop axis element in modular automation cabinets. By managing current, velocity, and position loops, it links fieldbus commands from higher-level PLCs to the electromechanical motion elements used in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines. This arrangement lets one drive module coordinate motor response accurately on a single machine axis while remaining suitable for multi-axis cabinet layouts. For sites at higher altitudes, the controller maintains full current up to 1000 m above sea level before additional cooling or reduced output is needed. During storage or shipment, the electronics can withstand temperatures from -30 to 85 °C, which helps protect the unit during transport and warehousing. Position information is processed through digital servo feedback, allowing the drive to close the position loop directly from the motor feedback signal. This feedback method supports precise coordination of speed and position without requiring an external converter module between the motor and drive. The unit carries Function ID 01. It is part of Line 02 and Version 1 within the DDS platform.
