The DDS02.1-W025-DL22-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It provides closed-loop regulation for induction and synchronous servo motors used in material handling, packaging, and machining centers. Within an automation cell, the unit converts command data from the master control system into precise current and voltage patterns that match motor demand, supporting repeatable axis motion and coordinated positioning. Because the control loop is managed inside the drive, the motor can respond quickly to changing load conditions while maintaining stable speed and accurate positioning during start, stop, and indexing cycles.

This controller executes motion through an interface dedicated to single-axis position control, so one drive directly governs one mechanical axis. Thermal management relies on internal air cooling from inside the control cabinet, meaning cabinet airflow must be maintained instead of supplied by external fan trays.
