The DDS02.1-W025-DA10-00 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. Within an automation rack, it serves as the power and regulation stage between the supply module and a matched servo motor, converting reference commands from the CNC or PLC into precise phase currents. The controller maintains commanded torque and velocity so that axes follow programmed trajectories during assembly, packaging, or printing operations. In practice, it links higher-level machine motion commands to low-level motor control so the axis can respond accurately to speed changes and shifting load conditions.

The drive has a continuous output rating of 25 A, allowing it to energize medium-frame servo motors without saturation. Thermal energy is removed through internal air cooling, so cabinet airflow must provide unrestricted intake and exhaust paths. The IP20 housing blocks solid objects larger than 12.5 mm, but the unit still requires a closed enclosure where dust or liquids are present.
