Bosch Rexroth is an internationally recognized pioneer brand in the drive control market, famous for its high-quality drive control units. One of the hallmark features of these drive controllers is their modular design concept. This significantly improves the adaptability of the drive controllers for multiple applications, including a rapid-response function with MDD, MKD, and LAR AC motors by Bosch Rexroth. These drives and their compatible drive controllers are ideal for use in handling machines, robotics, printing and packaging machinery.
The DDS02.1-W015-DS23-00 drive controller model is a Version 1 product with a DC bus voltage rating of 300V (±
15%) and a peak current rating of 15A. It is equipped with Digital Servo Feedback (DSF) for determining the motor’s position and is only compatible with motors that have this function. It also utilizes a highly efficient heat dissipation system where cooling is achieved by airflow outside the control cabinet in which it is housed. This allows it to be mounted in small control cabinets that conserve space and simplify installation. Built with a SERCOS interface, the drive controller communicates with its motor using a fibre optic cable.
With a regulated DC voltage of 24V, the DDS02.1-W015-DS23-00 can communicate with Indramat supply units except the TVM 1.2 supply unit as its DC voltage is unregulated. The ideal ambient conditions for a prolonged service life are a maximum temperature of 45oC and a maximum relative air humidity of 95%. It should also be installed at a maximum height of 1000m.
