Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the DDS02.1-W015-DS03-00 drive controller as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. The unit functions as a digital AC servo drive controller that regulates torque, velocity, and position of compatible synchronous motors in automated production lines and material-handling systems. By converting command data from a higher-level control into precisely modulated three-phase outputs, the controller forms the actuator side of closed-loop motion tasks. It is suited for packaging lines, transfer systems, and other equipment where several servo axes must respond in step.

The controller exchanges real-time motion commands and status data through a SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic networking with PLCs and other drives on a fiber-optic ring. Heat produced by the IGBT power stage is removed by internal air cooling, so cabinet air moves across the heat sink without external ducts. The housing has an IP20 rating, which helps protect against finger contact when the cabinet door is open. Position verification arrives from motors equipped with digital servo feedback, allowing the axis processor to close control loops with high resolution. When machinery is idle, the unit tolerates storage temperatures from -30 to +85 °C without damage to capacitors or board laminates. This storage range supports transport and inactive storage before installation. The product is part of Line 02 and Version 1.
