The DDS02.1-F200-DL01-01-FW is an industrial drive controller produced by Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of electric motors used in industrial production systems. This controller is a cost-efficient device that can control the operation of different industrial motor series such as the MDD synchronous motor series, the MKD synchronous motor series, and the LAR induction motor. The DDS02.1-F200-DL01-01-FW also features a modular design that allows for the flexible combination of AC servo and main drives into one compact drive package that uses a single power supply unit. Under ideal operating conditions, this industrial controller operates at an efficiency of about 95 percent; it can also maintain this efficiency for more than five years without experiencing any major mechanical failure.
The DDS02.1-F200-DL01-01-FW industrial drive controller operates with a rated voltage of about 300 volts and a continuous input current of about 105 amperes. The housing of this drive controller offers it protection that meets the IP10 protection class; this means the controller is vulnerable to the penetration of liquid substances and very small solid substances, thus for optimum protection, this drive controller should be installed in an additional control cabinet that meat a minimum protection class of IP54. The DDS02.1-F200-DL01-01-FW drive controller connects to industrial motors through two main types of electrical cable; the power cable and the motor feedback cable. All electrical cables used with this controller must be well shielded to prevent electrical interference.
