The DDS02.1-A200-DS54-00-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. By converting setpoint data from a higher-level motion system into precise three-phase motor output, the unit governs compatible servo motors in automated machinery, packaging lines, and handling cells. It closes the current and speed loops inside the drive so the machine control can focus on axis coordination and sequence logic. That arrangement supports repeatable positioning, consistent speed regulation, and smooth transitions during acceleration and deceleration. The controller belongs to Line 02 within the DDS platform.

This model communicates with upstream controls through a SERCOS interface, allowing deterministic real-time exchange of velocity, position, and diagnostic data. The power section supplies up to 200 A of continuous current, so it can drive high-torque motors without current derating under rated conditions. Protection is limited to an IP20 enclosure, which means the unit must be installed inside a cabinet. Long-term storage is allowed from −30 to +85 °C, which supports transport and idle storage before installation.
