The DDS02.1-A200-DS24-04-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDS Drive Controllers series. As a drive controller, it supplies modulated power to compatible servo motors and exchanges real-time data with higher-level PLCs to coordinate motion sequences in automated machinery. The unit governs motor torque, velocity, and position while monitoring feedback to keep closed-loop accuracy in industrial assembly cells, packaging lines, and material-handling workstations. By adjusting output current in real time, it responds to motion commands and helps the connected axis remain stable as operating loads change.

The controller communicates with the automation system over a SERCOS interface, so cyclic setpoints and diagnostic words are transferred through a fiber-optic ring at deterministic intervals.
