The DDS02.1-A200-DL02-01-FW is a controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the DDS Drive Controllers series. Installed between the supply module and a single servo axis, it manages torque, speed, and position commands for precision automation tasks. By conditioning power and exchanging feedback, the unit forms the core interface between compatible drives and synchronous or asynchronous servomotors in packaging, printing, or material-handling lines. Its role is to translate control commands into stable axis behavior during indexing, speed changes, and repeated positioning cycles.

The drive can deliver a continuous phase current of 200 A, allowing it to actuate high-torque motors without external amplification. Motion commands travel through an integrated interface for single-axis position control, so the axis can execute programmed moves without relying on a separate PLC slot for local position processing. Feedback from the machine reaches the controller as digital servo feedback, which supports high-resolution encoder signals for tight velocity regulation and accurate position correction.
