Product Description:
The DDS02.1-A200-DA01-00 is a drive controller in the DDS Drive Controllers series. It serves as the closed-loop control stage for synchronous and induction motors used in industrial automation, translating command signals into regulated motor current for accurate motion. In machine systems, the unit helps position conveyors, tooling, and robotic axes in real time by linking higher-level motion commands to the electrical power stage. Because the control loop is handled within the drive, commanded motion can be corrected quickly as load conditions change during operation.
The controller can deliver a continuous output current of 200 A, allowing it to supply high motor phase current without thermal derating under the stated operating conditions. Its enclosure is rated IP20, which blocks finger contact and larger solid objects, so the unit is intended for installation inside a protective cabinet. Communication with the control system uses an analog interface, allowing velocity or torque commands to be applied as voltage signals. This arrangement keeps control wiring straightforward in systems that use analog references instead of a digital fieldbus. Cooling is provided by external air cooling, which moves ambient air across the heat sink. For motor feedback, the drive is matched to digital servo feedback devices, and reliable operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C.
The drive can be installed at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level without output reduction. At higher altitudes, reduced air density lowers the effectiveness of airflow over the heat sink. When powered down, it can be stored at temperatures from -30 to +85 °C, which supports transport and warehouse handling across a wide range of conditions. The unit is assigned Function ID 01, belongs to Line 02, and is built as hardware Version 1. These identifiers distinguish the configuration used for this controller type.
