The DDS02.1-A150-DS24-03-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DDS Drive Controllers series. It converts incoming line power into regulated three-phase output and closes the inner current loop used for servo motion control in packaging lines, machine tools, and material-handling cells. By combining signal processing and gate-drive functions in one compact module, the unit supports tightly coordinated multi-axis operation with compatible motors. In a typical installation, it serves as the power stage between the motion controller and the motor, translating command values into controlled current so the axis can follow programmed acceleration and positioning profiles.
The drive supplies a continuous output of 150 A, giving enough current for strong acceleration without requiring an external amplifier stage. Command exchange is handled through the SERCOS interface, which supports deterministic communication with higher-level motion control.
