The DDS02.1-A150-DG01-00 is a state-of-the-art industrial drive controller produced by Rexroth Indramat to carry out accurate automation control in the industrial servo system. This controller is unlike convectional drive controllers as it can effectively control industrial motors over a broad speed range; it also operates with a closed-loop control system, which means it can automatically regulate synchronous and induction motors without human interaction. Under normal operating conditions, this industrial control device can maintain an efficiency of about 95 percent for more than seven years without experiencing any major mechanical breakdown; thus, it is cost-efficient, and operators do not need to spend money on machine repaires repeatedly.
The communication between the DDS02.1-A150-DG01-00 industrial drive controller and all other parts of the servo system is controlled by the highly efficient SERCOS communication protocols; the controller contains several additional interfaces through which it connects to additional accessories of the servo system, one important connection interface includes the 6-PIN plugging terminal designed for the external power supply module and the motor brake. This industrial controller is also a self-diagnostic device; during operational error, it detects the error and independently alerts the operator by flashing warning flashes through the light-emitting diodes present on its housing unit.
The DDS02.1-A150-DG01-00 industrial drive controller also contains an internal air blower and a heatsink which work together to control the internal temperature of the servo drive via forced ventilation. It is important to leave a clearance of about 100 millimeters between the controller and the housing unit to allow the easy movement of air in and out of the controller.
