Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DDS02.1-A150-DA07-00 as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. This digital AC servo drive controller regulates torque, speed, and position for synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery. Mounted inside a control cabinet, it exchanges reference values with higher-level motion controllers and routes regulated power to the connected motor, helping conveyors, handling systems, and forming equipment maintain stable motion. The controller is intended for closed-loop axis operation where accurate current regulation and responsive motor control are required. Its control section continuously compares command values with motor feedback so speed and position remain stable as load conditions change.

The drive supplies a continuous output of 150 A, a current level suited to medium-power axes that require quick acceleration. Cooling uses air drawn from outside the control cabinet, which helps keep internal cabinet heat from building up during sustained operation. Command and diagnostic signals pass through an analog interface, so velocity or torque requests arrive as ±10 V setpoints rather than through a digital fieldbus. This interface style fits systems that use conventional analog reference signals and status connections. The unit has an IP20 protection rating, so it must be mounted behind a panel because it is not sealed against dust or dripping liquids. Reliable operation is permitted from 0 to 45 °C.

Installation altitude must not exceed 1000 m, which helps the cooling air retain enough density for heat removal. During storage or shipment, the unit tolerates -30 to 85 °C without damage. An internal evaluator reads motor-side digital servo feedback to complete the closed loop. The coding identifies the drive as Line 02 and Version 1. It can be paired with MKD, MHD, and 2AD motors, allowing it to serve as the power stage for cabinet-based servo axes in handling and forming equipment.
