The DDS02.1-A100-SK01-00 drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DDS Drive Controllers series. This digital AC servo drive controller regulates current and velocity loops for synchronous and induction motors used in CNC machinery and automated material-handling systems. By coordinating motor torque with feedback devices, the unit forms the interface between a higher-level motion processor and the mechanical axis it drives. It is intended for cabinet-mounted industrial drive systems where precise axis response is required during repeated operating cycles.

In continuous service, the controller supplies up to 100 A of output current, which is the maximum permissible motor phase current before protective limits engage. Thermal energy is removed by external air from outside the control cabinet, so the installation must provide a dedicated airflow path. The permitted ambient range is 0 – 45 °C, which is the temperature window for normal electronic operation.
