The DDS drive controller from Rexroth Indramat is a modular unit that is configurable and adaptable to several functions using various modules. A configured version of the DDS unit features compatible firmware and hardware. By design, the functionalities of these units are determined by their firmware. Other components of a configured DDS drive controllers include plugin modules and software modules. Drive controllers in the DDS series are suitable for linking with supply units from Rexroth Indramat. For safety reasons, this model is not recommended for use with unregulated TVM supply units, especially the TVM 1.2 series.
