Product Description:
The DDS02.1-A100-DL01-01-FW is a digital AC servo drive controller engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for closed-loop motion systems. As part of the DDS Drive Controllers series, it serves as the power stage between an Indramat supply module and a compatible synchronous or asynchronous servo motor. The unit regulates current and velocity so higher-level commands are translated into precise motor excitation for assembly lines, packaging equipment, and material-handling axes. Feedback processing inside the controller helps the connected motor maintain accurate speed and position during dynamic motion.
During operation, the drive can deliver a continuous output current of 100 A, allowing it to power medium-duty servo motors without thermal derating under normal conditions. Thermal energy is removed by external air cooling, so the cabinet must provide a direct flow of outside air to the heat sink area. The housing has an IP20 protection category, which helps prevent finger contact with live parts but does not provide full enclosure sealing. Command data is handled through a single-axis position control interface, while motor feedback returns through digital servo feedback so the torque, speed, and position loops can be closed within the drive. This arrangement is suited to applications that use one controlled motor axis per controller.
The drive is intended to operate in ambient temperatures from 0 to 45 °C and at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level. Storage and transport are permitted from -30 to 85 °C, which supports handling in unpowered conditions before installation. The unit carries Function ID 01, and the product is part of Line 02 with Version 1. Keeping the drive within the stated temperature and altitude limits helps maintain cooling performance and stable operation, especially where cabinet heat buildup or reduced air density could affect the power section.
