The DDS02.1-A050-RA01-02-FW/S002 is a digital AC servo drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDS Drive Controllers series. It links a machine’s motion CPU with a three-phase motor, translating velocity or torque commands into regulated power while supervising feedback. It is used in automated packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and material-handling stations, where closed-loop control helps keep axes synchronized under varying loads. This arrangement allows the drive to regulate motor behavior closely during speed changes, starts, and holding phases. It also supports coordinated motion during repeated start-stop cycles.

At a continuous output of 50 A, the drive feeds medium-frame servomotors without current starvation during acceleration bursts. Commands arrive through an analog interface, so ±10 V setpoints from legacy PLCs can be accepted without protocol converters.
