The DDS02.1-K025-D is an industrial drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed, acceleration, torque output, and general operation of synchronous and induction motors used with industrial production devices. This controller is designed according to the American and European quality standards; it is supplied as a fully configured unit featuring a firmware module, software module and other additional plugin modules. The DDS02.1-K025-D industrial drive controller is also an environmentally friendly device that does not generate a high amount of noise during operation; thus, it is perfect for operation at any time of the day. The housing of the DDS02.1-K025-D industrial drive controller can only protect the controller's internal components from the interference of large solid materials with a diameter higher than 50 millimetres; thus, for optimum protection, this controller should be installed in an additional control cabinet.

The DDS02.1-K025-D contains a heatsink and special air blower, which helps the controller keep its internal temperature within a permissible temperature range. This industrial drive controller offers a closed-loop control system; it uses the information it receives from the motor's encoder to independently adjust any deviation of the motor from the pre-determined operation parameters. The controller also contains a status display unit which provides the operator with information about the operational status of the drive controller in real-time.

The heat generated by the DDS02.1-K025-D drive controller is regulated via forced ventilation; thus, operators should ensure the controller is installed with a minimum clearance of about 120 millimetres to prevent the rapid build-up of heat in the housing of the industrial motor. The permissible temperature at which this controller can be operated falls between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.
