During the installation of the DDC01.1-K100A-DA02-00, the units should be mounted with sufficient air space to allow for efficient cooling. The bleeder resistor in the drive controller gets hot during operation. Any parts of the machine or flammable materials that can be affected by too much heat should be installed, maintaining a distance of 300 mm to the air outlet. Bosch Rexroth drive controller is paired with a feedback motor to the machine. When matching the Feed Motor to the system, there must be enough radial and axial compensation with all other machine parts. The re-circulating ball screw should be paired using a toothed belt reduction gear with a mounted overhung lock washer. The front bearings on the connected servo motor help in making the pairing operation easy and fast. A reduction gear also provides rigidity and dynamic stability to the feed axis.
