The adaptation is done through the selection of software (firmware) and hardware. Bosch develops different firmware for its devices that are optimized for different applications. The firmware is chosen on the basis of its feature set and is ordered separately. The hardware for the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-MD1-L1-S-NN-FW is comprised of a basic unit with slots for optional plug in modules.
