The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-MD1-L1-S-NN-FW is a modular control unit. It can be adapted to a wide range of customer requirements. The adaptation is done through the selection of software (firmware) and hardware. Bosch develops different firmware for its devices that are optimized for different applications. The firmware is chosen on the basis of its feature set and is ordered separately. The hardware for the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-MD1-L1-S-NN-FW is comprised of a basic unit with slots for optional plug in modules. Different categories of control units have a different number of slots for plug in modules. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-MD1-L1-S-NN-FW is an advanced control unit with four slots. Other types of available control units include basic universal and basic. Only slot on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-MD1-L1-S-NN-FW is reserved for a safety module.
