Rexroth Indramat drive controllers consist of two parts: a power section and a control section. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is an ADVANCED configurable single-axis control section in the CSH 01 series. It is typically purchased as part of the drive controller, but it can be purchased as a separate subitem on a few occasions. Its master communication is via the PROFIBUS network. It is equipped with a module for resolvers and encoder systems with an HSF interface and an 8 V power supply; standard for encoder systems of MKD, MKE, and MHD motors. It is supplied via the terminal connectors 24 V at the power section.

The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW has a standard control panel that has a single line display and four keys for commissioning the control section. The single-line display shows operating states, command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings. The standard control panel is used to set the drive address, establish the position data reference, access the error memory, and start the basic load defaults procedure. Its safety technology is the Safe Torque Off, an emergency safety stop that prevents the drive from restarting unexpectedly.

Accessories to be used with the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW, such as the universal adapter for safety technology, must be Rexroth Indramat endorsed parts. The control section operates with firmware for reading, storing, and executing data transfer from one control section to the other. The connection points of the control section are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. It is equipped with a protective diode which protects the modules from incorrect connection and polarity reversal of the supply voltage. It should not be mounted and dismounted more than a maximum of 20 times.
