The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a plug-in control section built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Housed in an IndraDrive modular drive, it supplies the computing and feedback interfaces that close the speed, torque, and position loops of servo axes used in packaging, printing, and material-handling lines. By combining motion control, fieldbus communication, and onboard signal conditioning, the unit reduces the need for separate interface cards and helps simplify panel wiring. This arrangement also keeps feedback processing and network communication in one module.

Two differential analog inputs accept a range of ±10 V, and each channel presents an input resistance of 160 kΩ, which minimizes loading on external transducers. The board provides one analog output that spans 0 to +5 V and is specified for a load of 5 kΩ. Its step size is 19.5 mV per increment, allowing fine reference generation for external converters or meters. Discrete inputs recognize an ON state at 15 V, while digital outputs can supply 0.5 A for contactors or signal lamps. An auxiliary relay is rated at 24 VDC and 1 A for isolating higher-power circuits. For sensor redundancy, an HSF encoder port delivers 8 VDC, and resolver feedback is energized with a 4 kHz carrier and 18.2 Vpp amplitude to support precise rotor angle tracking in electrically noisy environments. Base electronic demand is only 7.5 W, so cabinet cooling requirements stay low. Real-time axis commands and diagnostics are exchanged over PROFIBUS-DP, allowing the controller to join multi-vendor networks without custom gateways. The integrated Safe Motion circuitry provides Safe Torque Off, which removes drive power within a few milliseconds for personnel protection. A direct serial connection can operate at 115 kBaud, allowing rapid data transfer when fieldbus communication is unavailable.
